“Shut up Damien.” Her eyes were blood red, her words dripped with venom as she slammed her hands onto the marble tabletop turning solid rock into a fine powder.
“Don’t forget who and what you are Trinity.” Damien stood two steps away from Trinity’s trembling body and took a step towards her.
Trinity threw out her arm, and as her steel forearm collided with Damien’s abdomen, Damien was thrown to the surrounding wall, crushing the sheetrock. His body slid down the wall and onto the slate floor. Trinity lowered herself into a crouch, bared her fangs and spoke in a voice that dripped of natural power.
“I said shut up Damien.” Trinity’s head snapped up and the front door was thrust open, “I need to hunt.”
With that she flew out the door.
