And where were you in those moments?
Where I was left sitting atop a cliff overlooking the daring waters below. With every crash, with every wave I felt myself slip away. Skies teeming with utter chaos, spewing flashes of light, claps of air, a feeling of utter destruction. Where were you in those moments when I needed you? When the edge of that cliff wet grass green turned cliff grey? When those rocks kept the promises you never could? I could feel the skies anger as if it were my own, I could feel the frustration in her soul and the pain in her heart. The skies knew me better than you knew me, took me in when no one else wanted to. Here, lying in the dark grass, feeling every blade against my pale skin, soaking in the strength of the storm.
